Vacation Work at a small, but very experienced consulting electrical engineering firm who registers roughly 120 to 160 consulting projects a year. Placement for observation was made with various acting roles in the firm including various engineers and draughting personnel with different tasks and different projects at the firm to ensure a holistic overview of the working environment in the industry as well as to observe the various phases within the life cycle of an electrical engineering project.

Feb 2021 - Present      Platform Engineer Intern
               Polygon Research Inc.

- Automating the deployment of our app hosting environment (i.e. infrastructure as code)
- Automating our process for monthly updates to our apps, including acquiring and cleaning data
- Developing a methodology for conforming disparate entity names (e.g. lender names)
- Develop monitoring and alerting for our cloud infrastructure
- Develop user click analysis of most-used features in our apps
- Product management guidance for our predictive analytics, specifically our time series forecasting with Tangent Works


Volunteer Experience

Apr 2017 - Sept 2017   Improvement Engineer
                Engineers Without Borders South Africa

Implemented a drainage system for Kutumela Molefi Farm School. Awarded University of Pretoria Engineers Without Borders project of the year, 2017.

Awarded to top 15% of Engineering Class
